Outline and objectives

Students will learn the basic skills for effective presentations in English. They will listen to, perform and practice writing structures that create impact in a presentation

Goal

The overall goal is for students to continue developing competency in giving short talks as well as building vocabulary and fluency to be able to effectively communicate in an English speaking environment.

Lessons will be largely communicatively based and will focus on the comprehension of textbook topics as well as educational media (spoken, written and audio visual). Basic grammar, language and listening skills will be reviewed and practiced weekly. The means of feedback for assignments will be given during classroom discussions.

Students will listen to the article on the textbook (Natural way to heath). Discussion about water cycle.

Write a presentation. Water supply. Use the internet to find about water use and problems in other countries.
