Outline (in English)
This course is designed to help students overcome their fear of speaking English in front of others, acquire the ability to express themselves calmly and naturally, and acquire the ability to communicate in a way that is easy for listeners to understand.

人前で英語を話すことへの苦手意識を克服し、自然体であがらずに、落ち着いて自己表現できる英語力を身につけることを目ざすとともに、 筋道を立て、聞き手にわかりやすく伝えるコミュニケーション能力を身に付けることを目的としたアクティブな演習形式の授業である。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
課題のmini-presentationに関しては、英語の間違いというよりも、授業の内容を理解して条件に沿ったものになっているかを重視します。
平常点（授業内での活動状況、小テストなど） ２０％
課題（mini-presentationを書く) ５０％
期末テスト ３０％
Class activities, quizzes, etc. 20%.
Assignments (writing mini-presentations) 50%.
Final exam 30%.
