Outline and objectives

In this course, students will talk about their life experiences and write several life stories in Japanese. Through activities of speaking and writing about their past experiences as well as reading and listening to those of others, students will improve their abilities in conveying their experiences, thoughts, and feelings to others.

Goal

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- describe their experiences or past events concretely and effectively,
- convey their thoughts and feelings effectively and persuasively,
- understand more about their past, present, and future self.

This course is activity-based. Students will reflect on experiences in their life, explain them to other students, and write their own life stories. In each class, group discussions that are aimed at refinement of their writings will be held. Feedback will be done individually in the class or through Google Classroom.
