Outline (in English)

Course Outline
In this seminar, students will examine social science materials to understand the interactive nature of human behavior. They will also choose their own theme of research, survey relevant literature, gather data, and write a paper.

Learning Objectives
Through various activities in this seminar, students will develop knowledge and skills necessary to think critically and creatively through collaborating with others.

Learning activities outside of classroom
The first-year students will be expected to prepare for the textbook and group-work presentation and discussion. The final-year students will be expected to prepare for their paper presentation and discussion. This will take more than four hours of autonomous learning each week.

Grading Criteria/Policy
For the first-year students: presentation, discussion and contribution in the class (30%), understanding of the interactive nature of human behavior (30%), and contribution to the seminar activities (40%)
For the final-year students: discussion and contribution in the class (20%), contribution to the seminar activities (30%), and presentation and submission of the final paper (50%)
