Outline (in English)

[Course Outline]
The theme of Nagaoka Lab is Design of Creative Collaboration. Particularly the focus of the lab's activity is mainly upon developing mindsets, insights, and skills for creative collaboration in various fields of our society, which includes not only business & management related fields, but also social design fields in a broad sense.
In order to deepen understanding of the meanings of creative collaboration both in the business & management activities, and in the social design activities, and to inquire into the future creative society, in which we will hopefully value diversity and individuality, without being fettered by old conventions or old values of the 20th century, the participants of this seminar are supposed to commit to various learning activities, such as doing workshops and fieldworks, making presentations, writing essays, and so on.
In addition to committing to those learning activities, the participants are expected to individually do their own projects in relation either to the business & management fields or to the social design fields, and to make a theoretical and/or practical contribution to designing the future creative society, by using the following key conceptual tools of “unlearning”, “third place”, “workshop”, “ethnography”, and “boundary crossing”.
