Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
In this class, students start browsing the recent news articles and make short summaries of the news articles, at least 2 or 3 articles every week. During those browsing and summarizing process, the student will find the subject which the student might have interests and relevancy. Then, in the second step, students will brows the news artiles relating to the subject to learn the details of the subject. Finally the student will find the most relevant theme in one's own subject as the theme of graduation research work. During those process, students will aquire the not only the knowledge but also reading, writing, and speaking skills which will be required as the general business person. The process of the thesis writing, students will be teached individually.
【Learning Objectives】
Student will reach the level that one has one's own interest in the society as the matured participant. Then the student will study farther to find the solution for inproving the society.
【Learning activities outside of classroom】
Student should brows and summarize the relavant news every week at least total 4 hours.
【Grading Criteria/Policy】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Own presentations 50%
Comittment to the other student's presentations 25%
Involvement in the class disccusion 25%
