Outline (in English)

This course introduces the basics of corporate finance. Topics include investment projects analysis, capital structure, valuation of the firm, payout policy, M&A decision, financial risk management, and international financial management.

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
A. understand how the concept of time value of money is applied in financial decisions.
B. understand the relation between management and investors.
C. understand how shareholders and debtholders are different.
D. understand the difference between financing choices.
E. understand how to cope with financial risks.

Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 80%, Quizzes : 20%.
