Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This unit provides an overview of the accounting issues uniquely confronted by companies involved in international business. This includes how accounting is practiced in countries around the world. In addition, focus will also be on global rules and regulations issued by international organizations such as IFRS(International Financial Reporting Standards) and IASB(International Accounting Standards Board) which are evolving due to international entities requiring global standardization.

①Explain the impact of globalisation on financial reporting and analyse some of the current key issues faced by multinational enterprises from different countries.
②Evaluate and critically analyse the importance of enforcement agencies.
