【Course outline & Learning Objectives】
Introduction to Informatics <Geospatial information processing> course

Learn the fundamentals and applied capabilities of information literacy necessary for promoting learning in various fields at university.

Particularly in application aspect, we learn how to handle electronic maps and statistical information with location information that are frequently used in various disciplines and industries, and how to create distribution maps using them.

For doing this, to acquire the basic ability of spatial information analysis using free GIS software (MANDARA) is the purpose of this lecture.

Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content
