Outline (in English)

Course outline
This course deals with the book-keeping of an introductory level.Accounting based on Bookkeeping is called the langage of business.Income statements and balance sheets published by companies are prepared based on accounting books that record their economic activities according to bookkeeping technique and certain accounting rules.This course deals with this bookkeeping technique from journal entry to settlement of accounts.

Learning objectives
By the end of the course,students should be able to understand the basics of bookkeeping technique from journal entry to settlement of accounts,the double-entry system and basic accounting process.

Learning activities outside of classroom
Before/after each meeting,students will be expected to spend at least four hours to understand the course content.Students will be expected to have completed the quiz after each meeting(on-line test)and mid-term report.

Grading Criteria/Policy
Your overall grade will be decided based on the following:
Quiz after each meeting(on-line test)(45%),mid-term report(5%),term-end examination(50%).
