Outline (in English)

This class aims to provide students with fundamental knowledge of organization and business administration theories including the terms, the themes, and an overview of the field.

Learning objectives

Students who complete the course will be expected to:
(1) have an overview of major themes in organization theories,
(2) understand where the organization theories could be placed
  in the academic field of business administration,
(3) understand two major approaches in the organization theories,
(4) have the knowledge of the basic concepts and terms in this field,
(5) be able to explain the meaning of those terms.

Learning activities outside of classroom

Assignments which include reaction papers to the lectures will be given at the instructor's discretion.

Grading criteria/policy

Grading will be based on the mid-term or term-end examination (50%) and in-class attitudes and regular assignments (50%).
