(Learning activities outside of classroom）
Teachers of social studies and geography are required to have a wealth of knowledge and familiarity with various information. Be interested in what's happening in the world every day and try to read, read newspapers, watch TV news, and more. Can you explain the various things that are happening in Japan and around the world? Please acquire a keen historical awareness and modern awareness. Let's also read the literature introduced during the class. Reading a book is one of the jobs of a teacher. If the reports and summer assignments you submit each time are inadequate, you may be asked to resubmit. The standard preparatory study and review time for this class is 2 hours each.
（Grading Criteria /Policy）
Grading will be decided based on the attitude of participation in the lesson (10%), impressions submitted every hour, learning guidance plan, mock lesson (30%), and examination (60%). It may change depending on the class format.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
社会科の歴史を学び、学習指導要領の目標や内容を理解しながら、地歴分野の教材や学習方法、評価の仕方の基本を学びます。その上で、学習指導案を作成して模擬授業（教育実践研究）を実施し、その振り返りを通して授業改善の視点を身につけます。
到達目標Goal
中学校と高等学校における地理・歴史分野の学習指導要領の目標や内容を考え理解するとともに、教科指導と授業設計をするに当たって必要な知識や資質・能力を身につけます。

春学期は主に社会・地歴科教育の課題について歴史と現状をおさえながら学び、秋学期は具体的な授業テーマ（歴史が軸になります）をとりあげ、教科書と学習方法などを具体的に学びます。授業はICT教育を配慮し、講義と質疑、模擬授業、学生による発表です。提出物・レポート・試験などは適宜授業で講評・解説を行います。

社会科、地歴科の教員には豊富な知識と様々な情報に精通していることが求められます。日々世の中の出来事に関心を持ち、読書や新聞の講読、テレビのニュースなどを見るように努めてください。日本や世界で今おこっている様々なことを説明できますか。鋭い歴史認識・現代認識を身につけてください。授業中に紹介した文献も読んでみましょう。本を読むことは教員の仕事の一つともいえます。毎回提出のレポートや夏期課題が不十分な場合、再提出を求める場合もあります。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各2時間を標準とします。

授業への参加姿勢（10％）、毎時間提出の感想・レポート・学習指導案の提出（30％）、試験（60％）を総合的に勘案して評価します。
