Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
We shall use MS-EXCEL spreadsheet software and statistical analysis software to analyze social survey data.
We will use spreadsheet and statistical analysis software to learn how to collect, organize, analyze, and represent data scattered throughout society.
In spreadsheet software, students will learn specialized operation techniques, and in statistical analysis software, they will experience basic operation. Through this process, we will understand the meaning and methods of statistically handling real data.

(Learning Objectives)
We are able to collect and edit data necessary for social surveys.
We will master the professional techniques of the spreadsheet software MS-EXCEL.
We understand the significance of statistical data and how to analyze them.

(Method(s))
We will use spreadsheet and statistical analysis software to collect, organize, analyze, and represent social research and economic related "data".
At the beginning of the class, we will give an overview of each topic and use sample data for study, followed by the collection and analysis of data according to the topic of each student's choice.Finally, students will learn to present their results or submit an assignment.I'll also provide feedback on submitted reports as needed through presentations and email comments.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have read the relevant chapter(s) from the text. Your required study time is at least one hour for each class meeting.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be based on reports (40%), presentations (30%), and final assignments (30%).

I try to keep in mind useful issues for you who are serious about your future job, personal network, certification (professional business), entrepreneurship, etc.
I intend to raise awareness of practical skills by introducing seminars from time to time by IT professionals and managers who are active in the real world.
