Outline (in English)

Students will participate in hands-on activities of planning and producing a specific TVCM to understand the information structure of advertisement communication that links business with consumers. They will learn the essence of message creation, i.e. how to formulate the intention of marketing and convert it to an impactful advertisement expression that would arouse people’s sympathy, before delivering it.
Through practical training, students will develop their advertising communication skills and reach a level where they can plan basic communications, so they will be able to use materials and data analysis to develop specific advertising communications that provide solutions to advertising issues. The goal is also for students to be able to make persuasive and effective presentations.
Students will learn basic knowledge about advertising and case studies in advance. They will also actively view advertisements, films, and TV dramas in their daily lives. The standard preparation and review time for this class is one hour in total. The evaluation will be based on ordinary points (70%) and the final assignment of advertisement production expression (30%).
