Outline (in English)

Advertisement and PR contents provided by the media are considered as an important expression of consumption culture. The class aims to clarify its contemporary functions and roles, and also provides basic knowledge related with the practice of PR planning. It is also intended to deepen the understanding of the advertising / PR industry.
This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the characteristics and structure of the advertising and PR industry from an industrial theory perspective, enabling them to acquire basic knowledge useful for rudimentary advertising and PR planning. They will also actively view advertisements, films, and dramas in their daily lives. If there are any preparatory studies or assignments, they will be given in class as appropriate. The standard preparation and review time for this class is two hours. Evaluation is based on ordinary points (70%) and examinations (30%).
