Outline (in English)

Under collaboration with Hakuhodo Inc., a major advertising company, this special lecture will be directed by forefront business people from the advertisement industry. However, the lecture is not just focused on studying advertisement expressions through case studies. Our aim is to provide “a platform of stimulation and discovery” where the students will explore the essence that lies in the act of communication by following the thinking process in advertisement production.
What I want you to learn from the lecture is the following:
1.Realize how difficult and fun it is to "think" and "create," which are important in the act of communication.
2.Experience the perspectives and skills of communication professionals to enable you to build autonomous and emergent relationships.
3.Acquire basic knowledge and skills by effectively communicating your ideas. In addition to creating posters to be used in the final presentation, simple preliminary assignments will be given in some lectures. The standard preparation and review time for this class is two hours. This lecture is structured so that students can gain a great deal of insight by practicing what they learn in class in their daily lives. I hope that students will apply what they have learnt here in their everyday seminar activities and in their papers and reports. Students will be evaluated on ordinary points (80%) which are based on their attendance and the paper assignment.
