Outline (in English)

The objective of this course is to provide you an opportunity to learn basic skills necessary for conducting a social survey and statistical data analysis, and for writing a research paper based on the analysis. This year, we will utilize a government survey data regarding the COV-19's impact on the lives and thoughts of Japanese people.
Accordingly, the goal of the course for you is to acquire a basic ability to conduct a large-scale social survey and produce scientific findings.
To accomplish this goal, you are expected to finish required assignments, continuously work on the final research paper. Expected study time for each class is about four hours, at least.
The overall grade will be decided based on contribution to the survey process and final research paper (100%).
