Outline (in English)
The aim of this course is to help students acquire basic command of English.
By the end of the course, students are expected to have improved their four skills of English, that is, writing, reading, speaking, and listening.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to prepare for the class, to review what they have learnt, and to do their homework.
Grading will be based on homework(40%), quizzes(20%), term-end exam(40%), and in-class contribution(10%).

大学生として必要な英語力を身につける。「読む・書く・聞く・話す」に多角的に取り組み、各スキルを向上させる。
到達目標Goal
英語の四技能「読む・書く・聞く・話す」について、CEFRのB1レベル修了に該当するスキルを身につける。

授業は基本的に対面でおこなうが、状況に応じてzoomも使用するので、アナウンスの確認を徹底してほしい。毎回、前回の課題のフィードバックから始め、教科書に沿って授業を進める。適宜発表や発言を求める。ペアワーク・グループワークによる会話練習も行う。また、授業計画は授業の展開によって、若干の変更があり得る。

本授業の予習・復習には合わせて4時間以上をかけることを目安とする。予習としては、教科書の知らない単語をチェックして調べておくこと。授業後はOnline Practiceで内容を復習し、workbookに取り組んで課題を提出する。

zoomで授業に参加できるパソコンと通信の環境。カメラオン、マイクオンは必須とする。カメラ・マイクが使えない特段の事情がある場合は、その旨を文書にして提出すること。パソコンとインターネットは、オンライン教材の使用やgoogle classroomでの課題提出にも必要。
