【Outline (in English)】
1. Course Outline

The objective of this course is to lecture on Labor and Employment Law.

The outline is as follows:
－1. Lapanese Labor law;
－2. Japanese Employment Law;


2. Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:

-1. Understand the Labor standards law, Labor contract law, and other labor laws and related judicial precedents.
-2. You will be able to answer basic questions (jurisprudence level) regarding the Labor Standards Law, Labor Contract Law, and other labor laws, as well as related case law.
-3. Further deepen understanding of case law related to each labor law such as the Labor Standards Law and the Labor Contract Law by answering case problems.
-4. Be able to explain in sentences the knowledge acquired through the steps 1 to 3.


3. Learning Activities Outside of Classroom

Lecture/Exercise（two-credits）
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.


4.Grading Criteria /Policies

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
－ Term-end examination: 60%
－ Mid-term examination: 40%
