Outline (in English)

Art history is an academic field surrounding works of art that can be said to be mirrors of times, society, and culture. In this course, from Western European classical ancient, medieval Romanesque / Gothic, early modern Renaissance, modern 19th century era, art works taking a variety of expression forms such as architecture, sculpture, painting, crafts etc. are considered. By choosing each example from among the subjects and conducting a specific artistic approach in concrete terms, we aim to deepen understanding from various aspects. Also think about the perspective of cultural exchange.
