Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
In this course students will aim to complete their master’s thesis. Themes can be decided at will, but their rationale must be strictly discussed with the supervisor. Students have to derive meaningful results within their theme and explain them clearly and simply in their thesis.

(Learning Objectives)
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
1)Master's thesis
2)Writing a dissertation skill

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend one hour to understand the course content.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be decided based on short reports (50%), term end report (50%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives

　学位取得のための修士論文の作成を行う。研究の基盤となる知識やスキルの修得，実証データの提示作業、参考文献や研究分野の関連情報のサーベイ作業などを通して研究手法を学ぶ。

到達目標Goal

　修士学位論文を作成することを最終目標とし、その作成ために必要となる考え方や各種スキルを身につけることを副次的な目標とする。

　指導教員の日々のアドバイスの下に修士論文を作成する。各段階毎に、指導教員と議論を行い、進捗状況のチェック、途中経過の問題点、最終目標の再検討を行う。

システムデザイン専攻における修士プロジェクト後半（後期）に取り組む心構えやその意義について解説し，必要な関連事項の概要について述べる．

第2回[対面/face to face]：テーマに関するブレーンストーミング１

どのようなテーマで修士論文を作成するかについて、多方面の視点から議論する。

第3回[対面/face to face]：テーマに関するブレーンストーミング２

どのようなテーマで修士論文を作成するかについて、多方面の視点から議論する。

第4回[対面/face to face]：テーマの合理性（社会的意義・学術的意義）

取り上げたテーマが、研究対象として相応しいか否かを、検証する。その学術的意義や社会的意義についても検討する。

第5回[対面/face to face]：先行研究調査１

当該テーマに関連する先行研究を調査し、その概要、その優れた点、欠落している点を纏める。

第6回[対面/face to face]：先行研究調査２

当該テーマに関連する先行研究を調査し、その概要、その優れた点、欠落している点を纏める。
