Outline (in English)

This course introduces fluid dynamics and thermodynamics to students taking this course. Liquids and gasses can both be classified as fluids. The first half of the lecture deals with fluid properties, fluid statics and fluid dynamics. The second half of the lecture deals with thermodynamics. Thermodynamics is the study of a substance's energy-related properties. The properties of a substance and the procedures used to determine those properties depends on the state and the phase of the substance. By the end of the course, students learn to utilize the properties related to fluid dynamics and thermodynamics to product design through practical tasks.
