Outline (in English)

This course deals with basic principles of linear algebra. Linear algebra is not limited to use in engineering but a fundamental field with broad applications extending to economics etc. In particular, as linear space theory has a simple structure which gives form to different local properties, it not only underpins fundamental properties in natural science but has applications in linearity in various fields.
The goal of this course is to gain the ability to solve related problems.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.
Grading will be decided based on short exams in class (30%) and term-end exam (70%).
