Outline and objectives

Understanding modern issues of the world and situations of NGOs. Thinking of roles of NGOs and our own in civil society, and developing the positive attitude towards the participation.

Goal

Through the course, students will be able to:
1 understand the issues related to the civil society and their relations each other.
2 understand the history and present situation of NGOs.
3 understand the linkage of people all over the world from a global citizens' point of view.
4 acquire positive attitudes to tackle world issues as a global citizen.

Students will study and learn by way of group discussions and workshops as well as lectures. Aggressive attitude is necessary.
Students will be asked to write a short report at every lecture. Feedback will be provided through the Learning Management System.
