Outline (in English)

Religious, sectarian and ethnic conflicts still continue in the world after Islamic State (IS) disappeared. In Europe, there are expulsion movements against refugees from the Syrian civil war etc. In such situations, the US President Donald Trump announced “American First” policies. We cannot expect what would happen in the world in the near future. In this lecture, we will discuss world’s religious and ethnic conflicts in the world especially focusing upon the Middle East after what happens concerning religion in Japanese society.
