Outline (in English)

As symbolized by the Dentsu suicide case, the working environment created by working conditions such as working hours, breaks and annual paid vacations poses a very important issue in the workplace.
Measures to address not only conventional issues such as mental and physical health of workers, but also human rights such as power, sexual,
and maternity harassmentare also required to be considered from the viewpoint of improving the working environment.
In an aging society with a declining birthrate, a work environment with a good work-life balance is required. In addition, rational consideration for workers with disabilities is also an issue that has been required in recent years. These new issues will also be considered from the perspective of improving the working environment. We will also consider how labor and the environment will change as coronavirus infection prevention measures are taken. The aim is to acquire basic knowledge and understanding of laws and precedents that form such a working environment.
