Outline (in English)

The theme of this class is "Dreams and Chinese Literature". Through the various works from Pre-Qin to Qing dynasty, introduce what dreams Chinese people have made and how to understand them.
Since ancient times, Chinese people have a great belief that dreams have special power. Sometimes, some dreams can affect the political operation. With the change of the times, the subject of dreams has expanded from royalty class to intellectuals, commonalty, women, servants and so on. This expansion seems to diversify the content of dreams.
