Outline (in English)

In this course students will reflect on a variety of aspects of French society with the aid of music. Although France is one of the most popular countries for tourists, people are making their living, trying to resolve different problems, just as those in other countries. France is the country where the declaration of human rights was proclaimed, she has a long history as a host country for immigrants. The students will study well-known or almost unknown musical works which will tell us these aspects of this country. This course is designed for all students who are interested in France; the knowledge of the French language is not indispensable.
