Outline (in English)

This is a course designed to study the transformation of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility practiced in firms, organizations, and networks. This course provides an overview of corporate social responsibility(CSR), especially focused on the role of the socially responsible investment fund. The main objectives of the course are:
・understand concepts of corporate social responsibility;
・understand corporate ESG(Environmental, Social and Governance)policies and actions and investors’ preferences;
・enable the development of a sound understanding of corporate governance practice in Japan.
