Outline (in English)

Bookkeeping is the process of recording daily transactions in a company. The main purpose of bookkeeping is to help interested parties make their decisions by reporting the financial position and business performance of a company. The Income Statement reports the financial performance of a company over a specific accounting period. The Balance Sheet reports the financial position of a company at a specific accounting date. In this course students learn a sequence of accounting procedures during an accounting period that includes Journalization, Posting, Adjustments, Income Statement and Balance Sheet preparation.
