Outline (in English)

Chemical engineering is a tool of device design and process construction in the chemical industry. There are various unit operations there, in particular a reactor, the heart of chemical plant, is a most important part of chemical process. The engineering field for designing the reactor is "chemical reaction engineering". Students must be able to fully understand the fundamentals of chemical engineering (balance / equilibrium / rate) and express them clearly by numerical data for equipment design. Although we will focus on reactors in this lecture, only changing viewpoint allow us to apply the same method to the atmosphere (earth) environment, bioscience field, etc.
