Outline (in English)

The environment is the fundamental platform of all life, and our healthy and cultural life are fully supported by their grace. The capacity of the environment, however, is being undermined by the burdens of mankind, and continuing socio-economic activities and lifestyles will have irreversible effects on the environment. To cope with this situation, it is necessary to correctly understand the interaction between humans and the environment and apply it to actual actions.

Thanks to the efforts of the past, the environment around us has improved considerably. For this reason, you may feel that environmental problems occur somewhere else in distance, and be solved by someone else other than yourself as issues are too big to deal with. But we need to recognize that each of our actions has a significant impact on the environment around the world. With the recognition, we also have the imagination not only for the environment around us but also for other countries and future generations.

In this lecture, you will not only learn about various environmental issues, rather you will acquire the ability to summarize your ideas with logical thinking and scientific knowledge, and improve your ability of imagination which is important to deal with environmental issues.
