Outline (in English)

This course provides important topics concerning fundamentals of fluid dynamics. After completing this course, students should be able to:
1. develop a set of dimensionless variables for any flow situations by applying the Buckingham pi theorem and understand its effectiveness in data analysis.
2. estimate the friction drag caused by the boundary layer development on flat plate.
3. discuss the lift and drag forces acting on various objects surrounded by moving fluids.
