Outline (in English)

Introduction to tribology, i.e., engineering and science of fiction is presented in this lecture. The basics of friction is explained from two perspectives. The first point of view is to learn an introduction to macroscopic tribology. As the second viewpoint, the microscopic scale, i.e., the micro-scale tribology approaching the molecular-atomic scale is discussed .
