This course introduce the fundations of concepts and principle about basic thermodunamics and their applications in science and engineering.

The specific objectives of this integrated subjects are to
1)be able to explain the basic concepts of thermodynmics such as system, state, state postulate, equilibrium, process and the zeroth law of thermodynamics.
2)be able to understand and explane the first law of thermodynamics, energy balances, and mechanisms ofthe energy, intenal energy and enthalpy.

Your final grade will be decided according to the following process:
The final grade will be determined according to the following criteria:
・Only students with an attendance rate of The ratio of over 70%(10/14 or over) will be evaluated.
