Outline (in English)

1. The students understand the composition / function of the given machine element and the JIS standard, and acquires the ability to select the correct shape and dimension suitable for the design specification.
2. The students should understand the purpose of the parts diagram and assembly drawing, and reflect the related standards in detail to reflect on the drawing.
3. The students draw on drawing methods complying with JIS mechanical drawing standards.
4. The students learn why the drawing is necessary, how the drawings are needed at production fields, R&D fields, and so on.
5. In mechanical drawing, the students draw by hand drawing. Some students may think that "In nowadays, the hand-drawing is nonsense," but the hand-drawn drawings include many very important elements.
