Outline (in English)

(1) Our class aims at understanding the specific period from the Meiji Restoration (1868) to the WWI as the "formation-establishment" process of Japanese Capitalism.
(2) (1) is, however, composed not simply of chronologically “sorting out” the historicals facts but rather of theoretico-historical grasping of the productive factors of capitalism such as capital, labour, and land in relation to the establishment of the modern social institutions of course including the State called “Nippon”.
