Outline and objectives

英語で書かれた教科書を使い、経済学の応用的な概念を理解する。 本講義では、教科書である Acemoglu, D., Laibson, D., and List, J.A. 2015. Economics: Pearson の Chapter21、Chapter23、Chapter24、Chapter25を取り上げます。講義を英語で行われる。

Goal

経済学に関する基本的な知識を応用し、経済成長や金融制度、財政政策と金融政策が現実経済に与える影響を理解できるようになる。

The goal of this course is to continue our of macroeconomics, focusing on the topics of growth, the monetary system, fiscal policy and monetary policy.

スライドと板書を用いた講義形式の授業を行う。コロナウイルスの発生が治るまで授業の動画をネット上オンデマンドで配信する。課題等の提出・フィードバックは「学習支援システム」を通じて行う。

The class is conducted in a lecture format using slides that can be downloaded. For the duration of the coronavirus outbreak, classes will be recorded and made available online for students to view on demand. Regular homework assignments will be followed by feedback on students' performance.

Homework assignment will be assigned regularly. Students are required to review the work covered in lecture and read the corresponding section of the textbook in addition to completing homework assignments. Preparation 2 hours, review 2 hours, for a total of 4 hours.
