Outline (in English)
The objective of this class is to develop students’ abilities to read a variety of articles in English.
Students should also develop logical thinking skills through reading and writing English.

授業の概要と目的(何を学ぶか)Outline and objectives
大学教育において必要となる英語力はじめ、本講義では特にスポーツに関連する英語を身につけていくことを目指す。英文を論理的に、時に文化的事情を踏まえ読解し、読解時に得た情報や知識を使い、プレゼンテーションや会話によって発信していくことで、自分の力で英語を駆使できる力を養う。

・英語で書かれた様々な英文のトピックが理解できるようになる。
・英語の語彙力を広げ、それらを自身の言葉として使うことができるようになる。

教員から学生への情報、知識を提供する。さらに、与えられた情報、知識を使い、英語を使用する。グループ学習やプレゼンテーションなどを多く用いるため、講義時にも演習時にも受け身の姿勢ではなく、積極的な姿勢で臨み,間違えることを恐れずに最善を尽くすこと
春学期の少なくとも前半はオンラインの開講となります。それに伴う各回の 授業計画の変更については学習支援システム(HOPPII)でその都度掲示します。
