Outline (in English)

Japanese society is facing an aging and declining population, increasing vacant houses, and many other problems. However, public policy alone will not be able to completely solve these problems. We will study several housing styles that feature living together (shared house, collective housing), and the revitalization of the local community by utilizing vacant houses. Through these cases, we will find useful measures to solve problems, illustrating the possibilities of housing.
A field works assignment will be given, the purpose of which is to understand a diverse number of opinions, which we can bring together to propose solutions based on housing.
