In order to create measures for disaster prevention and mitigation that are necessary to protect civic lives from water-related disasters, it is essential to deeply understand phenomena relating with atmosphere, precipitation, river, ocean and so on and also to learn engineering techniques and mathematical methods for analysis, prediction and evaluation of such phenomena.
