Outline and objectives

This course introduces students to five advanced levels of speech communication: (1) debate; (2) discussion; (3) negotiation theory; (4) intercultural communication; and (5) international management.

Goal

The goal of this course is to help students improve their English communication skills at an advanced level.

Textbooks

There is no textbook. Materials will be provided by the professor for the intercultural communication and intercultural negotiations sections. Students will select their own topics for the debates and discussions, and learn basic research skills for gathering their own materials.

Students will be evaluated on the basis of the assignments they complete (100%). It is important that you attend class to receive assignment information.
