Outline and objectives

This course will improve real-world English communication skills by focusing on opinion giving skills. A variety of important communication topics and situations will help students better understand how to use English with others.

Goal

Students will get better at overall communication skills and become more fluent at exchanging ideas and opinions. They will also be able understand the opinions of others more easily and respond to the them with support or criticism.

They will work in small groups, in pairs and with the whole class using English in an enjoyable and communicative way. They will participate in weekly discussions and debates about interesting topics. Feedback on assignments will be provided on an ongoing in-class basis and via Google Classroom (students will be asked to submit work on Google Classroom).
