Outline (in English)

Course Outline
Students will learn the basic knowledge and skills of doing research such as posing good questions, reviewing relevant studies and learning appropriate methods. It is students who actually conduct research, and the instructor will advise them to proceed on the right track.

Learning Objectives
The goal of this course is to write a high-quality paper in the field of human-resource and organizational management. In doing so, students will 1) set their own theme, 2) survey, examine and summarize relevant literature, 3) propose research questions and hypotheses, 4) find appropriate research methods, 4) gather and examine data, and 5) summarize the results as an academic paper.

Learning activities outside of classroom
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to search and examine relevant literature and materials.

Grading Criteria/Policy
Grading will be based on the quality of the students’ class performance (50%) and of the final paper (50%).
