Outline (in English)
The aim of this course is to read, understand and discussion about academic paper written in English.
At the end of the course, students are expected to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge needed to read academic literature in English.
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting.
Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Final report: 15%, Assignment (translation): 35%, Class contribution: 50%

アカデミックな英文のテクストを読解し，その内容をもとにディスカッションをする。
到達目標Goal
アカデミックな英語文献を正確に理解する力を養う。
また，たんにテキストを読解するだけではなく，その内容を批判的に検討し，ディスカッションできるようにする。

ChapterまたはSectionごとに担当者を決めて訳文を確認しながらテキストの講読を進め，ディスカッションを交えながら内容の理解を深める。
ディスカッションは日本語で行う。
