Outline (in English)

1. Course Outline

This seminar is for students at second and/or third grade of doctor course. Students will analyze some famous theses in the field of social security law and some cases of social security law.


2. Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A. Advanced necessary for setting the theme of a doctoral dissertation and writing a dissertation on a specific theme while acquiring accurate understanding of the latest major problems of social security law and labor law, problem-seeking, application of theory, and problem-solving ability. To acquire the methods and techniques of. Particular emphasis is placed on comparative law research.
-B. Students who participated in this class will write their own thoughts on various issues related to social security law as a dissertation by acquiring a high level of understanding and application of the basic theory of social security law and labor law.


3. Learning Activities Outside of Classroom

Lecture/Exercise(two-credits)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend five hours to understand the course content.


4.Grading Criteria /Policies

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
-a. Quality of student reports: 50%
-b. Learning results for problems pointed out by the instructor: 50%
