Outline (in English)

1. Course Outline

The purpose of this seminar is to conduct a literature study on Japanese labor law.


2. Learning Objectives

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A. Acquire accurate understanding of major problems in labor law, search for problems, and apply theory, and acquire the methods and techniques necessary for setting themes for future master's thesis and writing dissertations on specific themes.
-B. Students who participated in this class can think flexibly and logically about various problems in labor law and express their thoughts clearly by learning the understanding of the basic theory of labor law and its application ability.

3. Learning Activities Outside of Classroom

Lecture/Exercise(two-credits)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend three hours to understand the course content.


4.Grading Criteria /Policies

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
-a. In class contribution: 20%
-b. Quality of student's reports: 80%
