Outline (in English)

[Course outline]
This course explores the key aspects of Japanese Civil Law and analyses its characteristics in comparison with contemporary Western legal systems.
We plan to examine the recent reform of contract law and debtor-creditor law in Japan, as the sections of the Civil Code on those areas were amended and restructured in its entirety.
This course belongs in the Course Work Category.
