(Course outline)
Sport has become more significantly influencial on the various fields such as politics, economics and without saying, our daily lives in modern society, which is unprecedented. If we think about globalized society, sport give us comprehensive cases to understand its mechanism. Trough considering these cases we try to analyze various aspects of sport as a culture. Updated information about what is happening in sporting world will be featured in this lectures.
(Learning Objectives)
A main objective for this lecture is designed for the students to be more insightful on what sport is.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Prior to classes, students should have good understanding of the main topics and key words by reading the text book and searching for the information on the internet. Before and after classes, it takes at least two hours to do your own supplementary work.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
The assignments of each class and the final dissertation are evaluated for the grading of this course. The former explains 60 % and the latter does 40% of the score,
