Outline (in English)
This course is graduate-level introduction to industrial organization and managerial economics. The goal of this course is that students understand various models in the fields and acquire modeling skills for their own research interests. This course will focus on the topics as follows: monopoly, oligopoly with or without capacity constraint, market structure and market power, vertical and horizontal product differentiation, and so on. Students are expected to have solid comprehension of undergraduate microeconomics. The grade will be based on the final exam (10-50%) and the homework and the class contribution (50%-90%).

本講義は，、産業組織論（Industrial Organization）・企業経済学（Business Economics）・競争政策の経済学（Antitrust Economics）の基本・応用モデルを学習する。特に価格差別，カルテル，合併および垂直的取引の様々なモデルについて学習する。また，関連する実証的先行研究についても受講者と議論する予定である。

産業組織論・企業経済学・競争政策の経済学の基本・応用モデルを自ら構築・解析できる能力および実証的産業組織論の学術論文を読解する能力を身に付ける。

授業の総括
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
ミクロ経済学の基礎について復習を行うこと。また，基本的な数学（1次関数，2次関数，微分，積分，最適化，連立方程式等）について不安がある場合は，各自，事前に復習を行うこと。事前に配布される講義資料を使い十分な予習（2時間程度）を行ったうえで授業に臨み，講義後は復習（2時間程度）を行うこと。
